Reproduction of a metal and wood spark gun with simulator mechanism for loading and firing.

Spark pistols, one of the most popular firearms used by pirates in the 18th century, had a flint or flintlock, which produced a spark during the operation of the hammer, igniting the gunpowder These weapons required manual reloading and ammunition after each shot. The ammunition, which was inserted through the muzzle, consisted of powder, paper covers, which served to keep it compressed and pushed onto the barrel.

In combat, these weapons were usually used for a single shot, as the reloading method was very slow and no reloading time was used. Therefore, fighters after the shooting were forced to draw sabres or swords or use the gun as a club, because the circumstances did not allow for reloading time.

Experience the adventures and misadventures of pirates in the Caribbean seas with the historical reproduction of this denix gun!
