Pattada knife
The birth of the Pattada knife, according to tradition, is attributed to the two Mimmia brothers who, at the turn of the century, gave birth to the 'Resolza' as it is known today.
Knife made from various materials, for the blade and handle, ox horn or mouflon horn, hunting blade or damascus.
Characterised by its horn handle and steel blade in the shape of a myrtle leaf, 'Sa Resolza' has been subject to aesthetic and stylistic enhancements over time.
The Pattada knife is currently considered the Sardinian knife par excellence, called Resolza (a term that seems to derive from Roman rasoria), or Pattadese .
